Exploring Membership

Whether you’ve visited All Souls once, a few times, or are beginning to feel at home here, the membership committee invites you to participate in our Exploring Membership Series.

We’ve designed the Exploring Membership Series to inform and get to know each other. There’s no pressure… just a sincere invitation to consider membership. And should you require it, we’ll include childcare free of charge.

We offer this series twice a year to provide more information to those who may be considering membership.
There are two sessions in each series, and it is important to attend both of them to get a full picture of what membership entails.

The first session takes place on a Saturday and lasts about five hours. We’ll share over lunch and learn about each other’s journeys to All Souls. We’ll explore the history and values of the UU faith tradition; get to know Reverend Carolyn, our minister; and make friends with other newcomers and explorers.

The second, shorter session will follow two weeks later on a Sunday, following the first service. We meet in the Vail Library for further discussion, to explore opportunities and responsibilities that come with membership, and to have questions answered.

Following this exploration, we welcome you to consider joining us in a deeper relationship.
We’re excited that you’re here with us and value the opportunity to know you better.

If you’re interested in exploring, please download and read our Exploring Membership brochure (also available at All Souls), then fill in the registration form part, tear it off and place it in the offering basket. One of our membership committee members will get back to you as soon as possible to answer your questions and invite you to the next session!
