Music on the Menu

“Music on the Menu” is October 21

All Souls fundraiser pairs ‘Music Night” with dinner auctions and basket raffles!

Put Saturday night October 21 on your calendar  -  The big fundraiser of the fall is just around the corner.

Imagine an evening of great music – awesome music, in fact – all performed by our All Souls Family.   Nick Evento is picking up where our former “Music Night” left off, and is creating an evening full of your favorite All Souls musicians.  Expect to hear individuals, small groups, instrumentalists, and other talented Souls performing music that will have us singing along, tapping our toes, and dancing in the aisles.

Best part of all?   THIS CONCERT IS FREE!  Unity Hall will be full to the brim with our families supporting our Family, and you’re invited.

The evening begins with a dessert reception featuring culinary contributions of fall flavors:  Pumpkin, Apple, and Cranberry.  For a small donation, you’ll receive “tasting tickets” to graze your way through the desserts.

Then as you walk toward Unity Hall, you will see the familiar place settings featuring meals and occasions donated by All Souls friends and family.  Buy a seat at the table for Tapas, or Lobster, or whatever Rev. Carolyn and Kate are whipping up!  A seat at these limited seating events is available for a donation from $20 - $100.  Sign up and look forward to the radical hospitality served at these events throughout the fall and beyond.

Be sure you buy your basket raffle tickets at the door, so that you have chances to win services, experiences, and other surprises, all beautifully presented in baskets.  Each basket will feature a raffle ticket drop-box, so fill the box for your favorite baskets!

The night will offer something for everyone:  amazing music by our own community, donations of desserts to tickle your sweet tooth, the opportunity to share special gatherings for food and fun, and a plethora of fun hidden inside each basket.

Carolyn Bateman is now recruiting dinner donors and basket creators.  Contact Carolyn at to join in.

We are also seeking to Souls to head up the dessert reception, sell basket raffle tickets, oversee check-out, and prepare and reset Unity Hall.  Contact Laurie Scott at if you can head up or join a team.

More news will come soon, including the full roster of performers.  For now, mark your calendar and consider how you might like to pitch in.  Music is on the Menu at All Souls!
