A good start is to visit the Connecticut Resources Recovery Authority (CRRA) web site.
New London and eleven towns in southeastern Connecticut are served by the CRRA Southeast Project.
In addition to recycling, CRRA operates several trash-to-energy plants, including the facility in Preston.
