Green Sanctuary
What is Green Sanctuary? It is about how we, as Unitarian Universalists, “walk the talk” when it comes to our Seventh Principle, “Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part”. The Green Sanctuary Program, sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA), offers member congregations the opportunity to attain Green Sanctuary accreditation. The Green Sanctuary program aims to bring positive change in three areas of Unitarian Universalist life: personal lifestyle choices, congregational programs and practices, and outreach and activism within the broader comunity.
